this would be more impressive if i had a "before" picture. i did but SOMEBODY [looks at b.f.] deleted it offa tha camera. :pout:

oh well. it was originally white vinyl that was blech. i cleaned it up and did this to it:

recovered stool

i used a fabric i found thursday at the thrift store. i think i got 2.5 yards of it for 2 bucks. i like it.

i got the stool at the thrift store, too. (obvious) i think it was 3-4 bucks. can't remember. i just liked the shape. it's amazingly comfortable!

niiice. again. as usual. is that fabric moisture-proof? it's a big improvement over white vinyl.

i LOOOOOOOOOOVE it. that fabric is hott. and the stool is beautiful and unique.

the fabric is....maybe scotchgarded? i hope so! the cats LOVE that stool. and you have noooo idea how much of an improvement over the white vinyl it is. [curses b.f. for deleting my pictures!] the relief i feel when i look at it now is just...ahhhh! no more cruddy white vinyl!
